Relegated Maidstone came from behind to beat Barnet 2-1 at the Hive, recording their first win in six Vanarama National League matches despite missing a penalty.
The Bees took the lead in the opening minute of the game through Medy Elito, who found space at the edge of the box to fire a shot straight into the top right hand corner.
Blair Turgott missed the opportunity for his 12th goal of the season, after his penalty was saved by Barnet goalkeeper Mark Cousins.
Justin Amaluzor struck the equaliser for Maidstone at the start of the second half before Rob Swaine nodded in a free-kick for the game’s decisive third goal in the 70th minute.
