Chelsea vs West Ham United - Chelsea to test Loftus-Cheek’s back injury

Chelsea will assess Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s long-standing back problem ahead of Monday’s Premier League clash with West Ham at Stamford Bridge.

Defender Marcos Alonso must prove his fitness after a hamstring issue.

Pedro is expected to shake off a knock, while Ethan Ampadu has a back complaint.

Felipe Anderson, Samir Nasri and Ryan Fredericks are available for West Ham.

The trio were all absent as the Hammers crashed to a 2-0 home defeat against Everton last weekend.

Andy Carroll, Jack Wilshere, Andriy Yarmolenko, Carlos Sanchez and Winston Reid remain sidelined.
