Walsall’s Maz Kouhyar set for long spell out

Walsall’s build-up to their game with Oxford has been rocked by news of a serious injury to Maz Kouhyar.
The Afghanistan international suffered cruciate ligament damage in training last week and has found out he will be out for 10 months.
Andy Cook will fancy his chances of earning a start having been on the bench for the last two games following a suspension.
Winger Matt Jarvis could return to the squad after an ankle injury which has kept him out since the start of March.
Oxford are hopeful Jerome Sinclair will be fit for selection.
Sinclair has missed training this week with a thigh strain but Karl Robinson hopes he will be available if he can get through Friday’s session.
Gavin Whyte should be fit after he missed out at Wycombe last week with a similar injury as he has trained normally.
The U’s have pulled away from relegation danger after a run of three successive wins.
