Cheltenham manager Michael Duff expects to be without striker Tyrone Barnett for the rest of the season.
Barnett suffered a torn calf during last week’s 3-1 win at Crewe and is set to be sidelined for six to eight weeks.
Teenager George Lloyd pressed his claims for a first-team appearance with four goals for the reserves in their win over Luton in midweek.
Midfielder Jordan Tillson is ineligible to face parent club Exeter on Saturday, with Chris Clements and Conor Thomas vying to replace him in the side.
Exeter boss Matt Taylor has Ryan Bowman available again after suspension for the trip to Cheltenham.
Bowman picked up two yellow cards in the first 23 minutes of the win over Notts County and was banned for last week’s defeat to Mansfield.
Fellow forward Jonathan Forte continues to nurse a knee problem but could be used for a short period from the bench.
Defender Aaron Martin will be assessed after suffering a back problem while Luke Croll is getting closer to a return from a groin injury.
