Newport to assess Amond’s fitness for Tranmere clash

Newport will check on top scorer Padraig Amond ahead of the visit of Tranmere.
Amond, looking to make his 100th appearance for the club, missed last weekend’s 3-1 win at Yeovil with a shoulder injury.
Scot Bennett also sat out through injury but he is not far from returning.
Left-back Vashon Neufville has returned to West Ham following his loan spell with the Exiles.
Tranmere will be without Luke McCullough for the rest of the season after the midfielder suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury.
The Northern Ireland international sustained the injury early on in the 3-0 win against Carlisle on Saturday.
Jay Harris replaced the Doncaster loanee in the midweek defeat at Oldham.
Ishmael Miller remains on the sidelines for Rovers.
