Chelsea could cash in on Hazard but his move to Real Madrid 'depends on Zidane'
Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane will have the final say on whether to bring Eden Hazard in at the Bernabeu

EDEN HAZARD'S dream Real Madrid move depends on whether Los Blancos coach Zinedine Zidane will sanction the deal, according to reports.

Chelsea are reportedly ready to cash in on their wantaway star and the only thing missing to make it happen is the green light from the Frenchman.

Blues players have reportedly been told they will have to stay at Stamford Bridge beyond this summer in the aftermath of the transfer ban slapped by Fifa.

But Marca claim that in fact Chelsea could cash in on Hazard, 28, if he opted not to extend his deal.

Roman Abramovich is believed to be aware of the situation.

And the winter arrival of Borussia Dortmund ace Christian Pulisic is understood to be a part of the club's preparations for life after Hazard.

The Belgium international is also believed to have his mind set on a Bernabeu move this summer to team up with Zidane - his childhood hero.

And the interest is mutual, with the Los Blancos coach being a huge fan of Hazard's talent.

But the Frenchman will need to give the club's board the go-ahead before the wheels can be set in motion for the blockbuster move.

Zidane wants to weigh up his attacking options ahead of the next season before pulling the trigger.

A number of Madrid players could be given the boot in order to make room for Hazard - including Wales ace Gareth Bale.

But the Los Blancos coach is expected to be positive about bringing the Chelsea star in, considering his admiration for the winger.

Zidane advised Real to buy Hazard when he was still a Lille player - and demanded him to be signed a year ago before leaving the Bernabeu.

That was impossible back then, considering Chelsea's £130million asking price and that the move could have stopped the development of Marco Asensio.

Bur Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wants to usher in the second Zidane era in style - by signing a football star to lay the groundwork for the creation of another Galacticos.
