Boreham Wood beat Barrow to boost survival bid

Boreham Wood boosted their hopes of avoiding relegation from the National League with a 2-1 win at Barrow.
The visitors went in front in the 19th minute when Tom Champion won a free-kick 25 yards out and Kieran Murtagh curled the ball beautifully into the top-left corner.
The Hertfordshire side doubled their lead from the spot 15 minutes later, Justin Shaibu picking himself up to confidently convert after he was brought down in the area by Steve Jennings.
Jack Hindle reduced the arrears within three minutes, sliding a shot past George Legg.
But Legg was the hero in the second half, saving from Jennings and John Rooney to preserve the points as his side won for only the second time in 15 league games to move nine points clear of danger.
