Doncaster striker John Marquis is set to retain his place at home to Walsall despite eight matches without a goal.
Ben Whiteman (ankle) is sidelined for at least another week, while fellow midfielder Herbie Kane remains sidelined due to a groin tear.
Defender Joe Wright remains out having not played since late January because of an ankle injury.
Goalkeeper Ian Lawlor (shoulder) will not play again this season.
Walsall top scorer Andy Cook faces another match on the bench with manager Dean Keates preferring Josh Gordon.
Cook has not started the last two matches since returning from a three-match ban.
Isaiah Osbourne will be looking to retain his place having made his first start in five weeks at the expense of Joe Edwards last week.
Winger Matt Jarvis could return to the squad after an ankle injury which has kept him out since the start of the month.
