Ex of Beckham's sister claims he tried to kill himself: 'David turned his back on me'
THE EX of David Beckham’s sister claims he tried to kill himself after a major fallout with the family.

Kris Donnelly, who has a little girl called Peggy with the football legend’s sister Joanne, 37, says the dispute led him to take an overdose.
Kris today reveals he hit rock bottom after he claims he was prevented from seeing his daughter. Kris, 33, says the trauma started during their relationship - throughout which he alleges she was abusive to him.
He also said he was pushed to the brink after feeling betrayed by David Beckham who he claims turned his back on him after the separation.
Months after the split he says he went to the kitchen drawer where his mum kept her all her painkillers and tried to end it all.
He says placed his daughter’s passport picture, first comforter and one of her socks under his pillow before taking the pills, hoping he would never wake up.
He said: “I don’t really know what I was doing, I just wanted to go to sleep and not wake up.
"There were a load of tablets and I just grabbed as many as I could. I stuffed into my pocket before saying good night to my parents and going upstairs.
"I just wanted to go to sleep for a very long time. I was living my worst nightmare.
"I often look back at that time and there were moments when I did think I’d have been better off dead.”
The former Big Brother contestant, he appeared on the series in 2009, claims that Joanne used ‘coercive and controlling’ behaviour during their relationship.
He claims he was attacked by her on a number of occasions. He claims on one occasion Joanne hit him in the face with the sky remote, leaving a mark under his eye.
Kris said: “I was suffering in silence. “I’ve since found out that suicide is the biggest killer of men under 45, and I’m hoping by speaking out, even if I help just one person who is going through something similar, then it would’ve been worth it.
"I often look back at that time and there were moments when I did think I’d have been better off dead.”

"I could no longer be in an abusive and controlling relationship. Kris reveals how David - who he says he had been great friends with - turned his back on him after the split.
He said: “He told me that he didn’t want me speaking about his family and I told him that his sister had put me through a living hell while we were together.
"I told him that I’d been isolated hit, and abused. He said that he didn’t know anything about what had gone on and apologised.
"I came off the phone and told my mum that everything was going to be ok. I’d believed David but within weeks he’d gone back on his word.”
Kris also had a spat with Becks over pictures of the baby online.
He claims Joanne, 35, cancelled a prearranged meeting with him at the last minute over Christmas he believes because he had posted a picture of Peggy on social media.
Yet Becks, 43, had posted a snap of the tot to his 53million Instagram followers just weeks earlier.
Kris also reveals that Joanne’s mum Sandra often referred to his as the ‘donor’ despite being a relationship with Joanne.
He added: “I overheard Sandra on a number of occasions refer to me as the ‘donor’.
"Even when she was about to give birth Sandra said ‘oh he’s just the donor.’”
Kris opened up about what he claims was a living hell living in Beckham’s world.
He said: “I had no choice but to leave Joanne. I’d put up with hell."
A spokesman for the Beckhams declined to comment.
