Ben Tollitt leaves Dragons with parting gift

Ben Tollitt signed off his loan spell in style by scoring the winner in a 1-0 Vanarama National League victory over Maidstone at the Racecourse Ground to keep the Dragons in the hunt for automatic promotion.
Following early chances for the visitors, with Justin Amaluzor firing wide after a defensive mistake and Rob Lainton doing well to save a deflected shot from Blair Turgott, Wrexham should have opened the scoring in the 36th minute.
But after being played in by Tollitt, Chris Holroyd failed to capitalise on his one-on-one chance as Chris Lewington made a good save at his feet.
Four minutes after the break, Tollitt then scored what proved to be the winner by burying a crisp shot into the bottom corner for his fourth goal after joining Wrexham on a three-month loan from Tranmere in late December.
