Liverpool fans heap praise on Virgil van Dijk following Bayern win

Liverpool and Bayern Munich went head-to-head on Wednesday in the second leg of their Champions League tie.
The first leg at Anfield resulted in a 0-0 draw which was not great for Liverpool.
They had lost their previous three away games in Europe before the Bayern clash.
Jurgen Klopp's side did come into this game on the back of a 4-2 win over Burnley though while Bayern had won five of their last five league outings.
Van Dijk steals the show
Liverpool's night did not get off to a great start in Munich as Jordan Henderson had to come off in the 13th minute with an injury.
The Reds would, however, take the lead in the 26th minute thanks to a superb Sadio Mane goal.
This meant Bayern needed to score at least two to win the tie.
Bayern Munich would pull one back in the 39th minute via a Joel Matip own goal.
Liverpool would then start the second half the much brighter of the two sides.
Their dominance was eventually rewarded in the 69th minute as Virgil van Dijk headed home from a corner.
Van Dijk's goal against Bayern was also his third in four games for Liverpool across all competitions.
The Dutchman additionally became the first centre-back to both score and assist in a single UCL game.
After sending Liverpool into the quarter-final, VVD has been receiving a lot of praise online.
