Arbroath slip to defeat against struggling Stenhousemuir

Arbroath saw their lead at the top of Ladbrokes League One cut to 12 points following a rare defeat to bottom side Stenhousemuir.
Second-placed Raith capitalised with a 1-0 home win against Airdrie with the only goal of the game coming after 74 minutes through Grant Gillespie.
Arbroath were beaten 2-0 at home by Stenhousemuir, who had Morgyn Neill dismissed in stoppage time.
By then they had secured victory through goals from David Marsh in first-half stoppage time and Mark McGuigan after 56 minutes.
Forfar lie third after a 2-2 draw away to strugglers Brechin, who led 2-0 until late in the first half.
Andy Jackson and Dougie Hill struck in the first half hour to put Brechin in charge but Dylan Easton scored on the stroke of half-time and Brad Spencer secured the draw with 12 minutes remaining.
East Fife boosted their play-off position with a 3-1 win at home to Stranraer with goals from Patrick Slattery (48), Liam Watt (89) and Scott Linton deep into injury time. Kyle Turner had drawn Stranraer level after 54 minutes.
Dom Thomas scored twice as Dumbarton moved up to sixth with a 3-1 win at fifth-placed Montrose.
Thomas and Calum Gallagher put Dumbarton in control inside 38 minutes before Sean Dillon pulled a goal back, only for Thomas to wrap the game up with his second just before the hour.
