DAVID BECKHAM tried to do his coolest Kylian Mbappe impression while on a family skiing holiday in France.

The former England captain and Manchester United star is enjoying the snow at a resort near Saint Gervais in the south east of the country, close to Mont Blanc.

He has shared snaps from the trip on Instagram and took time out from hitting the slopes to imitate the World Cup winner.

Alongside an image of Beckham doing Mbappe's trademark celebration, the 43-year-old wrote: "What's up my friend @k.mbappe & @psg."

The folded arms pose is already a familiar sight to football fans despite the 20-year-old's short professional career.

But the forward did not appear to repeat the celebration when he netted against Beckham's beloved United in the Champions League last-16 first leg earlier this month.

Brazil international Neymar made up for Mbappe's absent-mindedness however, by repeating the celebration while watching the 2-0 win on television.

Meanwhile, Beckham is taking time out from his busy schedule - which recently saw him attend his first Salford City game since becoming a club director - to go on holiday with his family.

Wife Victoria and children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper are also on the trip which has included skiing, snowboarding and enjoying the apres-ski lifestyle.

Both have used social media to keep their followers up-to-date regarding the excursion, each posting images of them with their kids.
