Girona striker Cristhian Stuani reveals Barcelona contact

Girona striker Cristhian Stuani admits he's had contact with Barcelona.
While the striker remained quiet at the time, now admits it was indeed the case.
"Yes, there was interest from Barcelona," he stated.
"It is an honour that a team as big as Barcelona thought about me but I am also happy with renewing with Girona."
The former Middlesbrough man extended his deal earlier this month until 2022, and he spoke about his belief in his current side.
"I would not leave on a free in the event of being relegated.
"I am convinced that we will stay up but, I insist, I will not leave on a free if Girona go down," he affirmed.
"We have total confidence in the manager. He is doing a great job at Girona."
