Inverness edged past Highland rivals Ross County on penalties to book their place in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup.
The visitors twice led through Ross Stewart and Michael Gardyne but Jordan Whyte’s second half brace ensured a repeat of the 2-2 draw in their first meeting.
Neither side could convert their chances in the additional half-hour of extra-time forcing the game to go to spot-kicks.
Mark Ridgers saved County’s third effort from Declan McManus and the home side scored all five of theirs to seal a last eight clash with Dundee United.
