Doncaster Rovers vs Crystal Palace - No worries for Grant McCann
Posted Saturday, February 16, 2019 by PA
Doncaster manager Grant McCann has no fresh injury concerns for the FA Cup fifth-round tie against Crystal Palace.
Goalkeeper Ian Lawlor is the only long-term absentee for Rovers with defender Joe Wright hoping to step up his return to action.
Wright had been out since the end of October with an ankle injury, but made a surprise appearance from the bench against Oldham in the last round of the cup.
The 23-year-old has also played two full matches for the club’s under-23s recently, although it would be a surprise to see him involved from the start on Sunday.
Wilfried Zaha is suspended for Crystal Palace.
The forward was sent off against Southampton last month and will sit out Sunday’s match at the Keepmoat Stadium after the Football Association rejected Palace’s appeal.
Roy Hodgson’s side have been boosted though by the return of Cheikhou Kouyate.
The midfielder has been ruled out of Palace’s last two matches with an ankle issue.
