Ladbrokes League One leaders Arbroath had to be content with a point after Stranraer came from behind to battle to a 1-1 draw at Gayfield Park.
Bobby Linn put the home side in front after 26 minutes, with his 17th goal of the season. Greig Spence also saw an effort come back off the crossbar as the Red Lichties looked to further extend their advantage.
The Blues, though, rallied during the second half and were level on 66 minutes when Kyle Turner put the ball in after Grant Anderson’s header had been saved.
Stranraer almost snatched a winner in stoppage time when Adam Cummins’ header from a corner was cleared off the line.
Arbroath moved 13 points clear of Raith, who have now both played 23 matches.
In Tuesday night’s League Two match, a late goal from substitute Dylan Macking gave Stirling a 1-0 home win over bottom club Albion Rovers.
Stirling are now a point behind fourth-placed Annan in the battle for the play-offs.
