Honours even at Holker Street

Barrow and Bromley remain stationed side by side in the middle of the Vanarama National League table after sharing the points from a 1-1 draw at Holker Street.

The Bluebirds surged in front after quarter of an hour when Dior Angus and defender Marc-Anthony Okoye lunged in to meet a cross together. The former claimed his first Barrow goal amid the confusion.

Dan Jones then nearly made it two with a fantastic free-kick. The frame of the goal had barely stopped rattling as John Rooney placed the rebound wide.

JJ Hooper brought the Hayes Lane club level 10 minutes after the resumption when he flicked a header just over the line, despite the valiant attempt of Joel Dixon to claw it away.
