Falkirk recover to sink Alloa

Falkirk climbed off the foot of the Ladbrokes Championship and out of the relegation places after a vital 2-1 win at Alloa.
The defeat dropped Alloa into the relegation play-off place, with Partick Thistle, who were in Scottish Cup action, slipping to the foot of the table.
The Bairns took a 20th-minute lead when Jordan McGhee headed home Deimantas Petravicius’ cross.
But Alloa hauled themselves level in the 31st minute when Connor Shields converted Dario Zanatta’s cross.
Falkirk regained the lead just a minute after the break when Petravicius picked out Mark Waddington and he fired home from six yards.
Petravicius had a wonderful opportunity to settle things a minute from time but Neil Parry saved well.
