Defensive headache for Hull ahead of Stoke clash

Hull are facing a defensive headache as Reece Burke, Jordy de Wijs and Ondrej Mazuch will be missing against Stoke.
Nigel Adkins has confirmed the trio will be absent Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship, with Burke and De Wijs potentially returning next weekend at Derby.
Deadline-day signing Liam Ridgewell is not match fit so the Tigers are likely to line up at centre-back with Robbie McKenzie and Eric Lichaj.
Australia international Jackson Irvine has returned from the Asian Cup, while fellow midfielder Jon Toral missed the trip to Blackburn with a groin strain.
Sam Vokes and Danny Batth could make their Stoke debuts as Nathan Jones’ men travel to the KCOM Stadium.
Wales striker Vokes signed a three-and-a-half year deal after joining from Burnley in a deal that saw Peter Crouch head the other way.
Centre-back Batth arrived from Wolves in midweek and is another pushing for their debut in Yorkshire, while Cuco Martina, Erik Pieters and Tyrese Campbell left on deadline day.
Charlie Adam faces two to three weeks out with a calf injury sustained in the build-up to last week’s match against Preston.
