Alex Lacey set to miss out for Gillingham
Posted Tuesday, January 29, 2019 by PA
Gillingham defender Alex Lacey is set to miss the visit of Accrington.
Lacey had to sit out the FA Cup defeat at Swansea after sustainingp an ankle injury the week before and is not expected to be fit in time.
Callum Reilly will be assessed as he attempts to recover from a muscle strain.
Dean Parrett came on as a substitute against the Swans after a hamstring problem and should be involved again.
Accrington will make the trip to Kent without suspended midfielder Daniel Barlaser.
Barlaser serves a one-match ban after he was sent off in the FA Cup defeat by Derby for two yellow cards, much to the annoyance of manager John Coleman.
Sam Finley is also out as he continues to serve a five-game suspension for violent conduct.
Scott Brown is the likely candidate to step into midfield.
