Stalemate at Cappielow

Morton had to settle for a point as Dunfermline ground out a goalless draw in their Scottish Championship clash at Cappielow.
Both goalkeepers marked their debuts with clean sheets as Morton’s Robby McCrorie enjoyed a fairly trouble-free afternoon and Ryan Scully at the other end dealt with everything which came his way.
Andrew Dallas, who like McCrorie has joined Morton on loan from Rangers, looked lively for the hosts on his first game for the club, while Chris Millar threatened on a number of occasions after the break, but the visitors held firm.
The draw did little to enhance either club’s cause, with Morton remaining sixth, one place and four points above their opponents.
