Darren O’Dea returns from suspension for Dundee’s Ladbrokes Premiership clash with Motherwell at Dens Park on Saturday.
Boss Jim McIntyre is awaiting international clearance for Swedish midfielder Andreas Hadenius, who signed on loan for the rest of the season from Halmstad, while right-back James Horsfield, on loan from Scunthorpe until the end of the season, has been added to the squad.
Centre-backs Andrew Davies (broken foot) and Josh Meekings (hip) remain out, along with goalkeeper Jack Hamilton (finger).
Elliott Frear will have a late fitness test.
The winger is carrying an ankle knock from training on Monday.
Defenders Christian Mbulu and Aaron Taylor-Sinclair are just short of comebacks. Long-term absentees Trevor Carson (deep vein thrombosis), Craig Tanner and Chris Cadden (both knee tendon) remain on the sidelines.
