Sam Finley misses out as Accrington prepare for Derby clash

Accrington midfielder Sam Finley will miss the FA Cup fourth round fixture against Derby as he begins a five-match suspension for violent conduct.
The 26-year-old was punished for an alleged stamp on Charlton forward Lyle Taylor during last weekend’s League One game at The Valley, which was not seen by the match officials but was caught on camera.
Finley admitted the charge, although an independent regulatory commission upheld the Football Association’s view that a three-match ban was insufficient so he is set for an extended spell on the sidelines.
Jonathan Maxted will be available despite being dismissed following a clash with Taylor. The goalkeeper was facing a three-match ban but his claim of wrongful dismissal was upheld.
New Derby signing Ashley Cole will not make his debut at the Wham Stadium.
The free agent joined until the end of the season this month but has not trained for a number of weeks and boss Frank Lampard, Cole’s former Chelsea team-mate, will not rush the defender into action.
Tom Lawrence (hamstring), Scott Carson (knee), and Andre Wisdom (groin) are all out along with Curtis Davies (Achilles), Marcus Olsson (knee) and Craig Forsyth (knee).
But Florian Jozefzoon has returned to training for the Rams after a knee injury.
