Jaden Brown and Randell Williams could feature for Exeter in Saturday’s League Two clash with in-form Cambridge.
Tottenham academy graduate Brown, a full-back, has joined on loan from Huddersfield and former Watford winger Williams moved to Devon on a free transfer and made his debut off the substitutes’ bench at Newport.
Boss Matt Taylor reported a few knocks following the Grecians’ loss in south Wales but revealed there were no fresh injuries.
Defender Troy Brown (knee), midfielder Hiram Boateng (hip) and defender Luke Croll (groin) remain out.
Reggie Lambe is the most likely of Cambridge’s injured players to return to contention.
Lambe is recovering from a dead leg, while midfielder Liam O’Neil is slightly behind in his bid to regain fitness.
Goalkeeper David Forde is again a major doubt with his shoulder injury, so Dimitar Mitov is likely to retain his place.
United have won three straight games under Colin Calderwood, who has four wins in his seven matches as boss.
