Tafazolli misses Charlton game through suspension

Peterborough are without suspended defender Ryan Tafazolli, who is serving a three match ban for his red card against Luton.

Their unsuccessful appeal against his suspension will force manager Steve Evans into further changes, following successive defeats.

Luke McGee, Oli Hawkins and Nathan Thompson are all expected to miss out through injury.

Peterborough also this week sanctioned the departures of Mark O’Hara and Colin Daniel, who respectively left for Lincoln on loan and Burton on a permanent basis.

Charlton are similarly without influential striker Lyle Taylor, who is suspended following his red card in last week’s 1-0 victory over Accrington.

They had appealed against his red card, but unlike Accrington with goalkeeper Jonny Maxted over the same incident, were unsuccessful.

In his absence, Tariqe Fosu and Ben Reeves are pushing to start.

Jason Pearce remains sidelined with a foot injury.
