Bristol City could have Matty Taylor back in contention for the FA Cup fourth-round tie against Bolton.
The forward missed last weekend’s win at Nottingham Forest with an unspecified problem, but was scheduled to return to training ahead of the visit of the Sky Bet Championship strugglers.
Defenders Adam Webster and Jack Hunt will also be monitored after suffering fitness issues during the previous league match against Bolton, while goalkeeper Niki Maenpaa is another doubt.
Striker Marley Watkins has been stepping up his recovery, but is another not expected to be involved for the cup tie. Midfielder Korey Smith (knee) is a long-term absentee.
Bolton boss Phil Parkinson admits he could make several changes, with a key Championship clash against relegation rivals Reading coming up on Tuesday night.
Goalkeeper Remi Matthews should feature having rejoined the club on a permanent basis.
Defender Luca Connell and midfielder Joe Pritchard may also be involved to give the youngsters more first-team experience.
Midfielder Joe Williams (thigh) continues his recovery and winger Yanic Wildschut is set for three months out to recover from ankle surgery.
