Norwich to check on Buendia ahead of clash with Sheffield United

Norwich will check on midfielder Emiliano Buendia ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship match against promotion rivals Sheffield United.
Buendia was taken off during the first half of the 3-1 win over Birmingham because of a dead leg, but Canaries boss Daniel Farke hoped the Argentinian playmaker would be back in contention against the Blades.
Midfielders Alex Tettey (abductor muscle) and Moritz Leitner (ankle) both continue their rehabilitation, while Swiss defender Timm Klose remains sidelined by a knee problem which will not need surgery.
Out-of-favour forward Nelson Oliveira has joined Reading on loan until the end of the season. Striker Carlton Morris made a welcome return from his knee injury lay-off with a run-out for the under-23s but was withdrawn early as a precaution after taking a knock to his ankle.
Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder reported no fresh injury problems as he prepared the squad for the trip to Norfolk.
New signings Gary Madine and Kieran Dowell could both be in contention for a start.
Forward Madine, on loan from Cardiff, and midfielder Dowell, on loan from Everton, came off the bench during the closing stages of last weekend’s 1-0 defeat at Swansea.
The Blades are fourth, but just three points behind Norwich, who currently occupy the second automatic promotion spot.
