Northampton facing raft of injury concerns ahead of Morecambe clash

Northampton have a host of injury doubts for the Sky Bet League Two visit of Morecambe to Sixfields Stadium.
John-Joe O’Toole, Ash Taylor, Sam Foley and Dean Bowditch sat out Saturday’s 3-2 defeat at Cambridge and face fitness tests.
Shaun McWilliams and George Cox picked up knocks in the first half of the game and are also being monitored.
However, the squad has been bolstered by this week’s arrival of midfielder Joe Powell on loan from West Ham.
Morecambe boss Jim Bentley faces a key decision in attack as he seeks to inspire a first win in seven outings.
For the second home match in succession, the Shrimps conceded an injury-time goal to give up vital points in their pursuit of League Two safety.
Liam Mandeville replaced Alex Kenyon for the 2-1 defeat by Stevenage, offering support to strikers Kevin Ellison and Rhys Oates.
Kenyon is the more defensive option and Bentley must decide whether to pick him again to make the team harder to break down.
