Daggers twist the knife as Maidstone lose at home again

Maidstone’s troubles in the Vanarama National League deepened with a 3-0 defeat to Dagenham.
Only one of Maidstone’s seven league wins this season has come at home so when defender Nathan Smith headed Dagenham 1-0 up midway through the first half, they always looked to be in trouble.
Jake Robinson squandered a decent chance to equalise and instead it was Dagenham who made the game safe in the 72nd minute, when Conor Wilkinson fired home.
Maidstone’s Dan Wishart sent a speculative shot whistling off the corner of the crossbar but Lamar Reynolds’ late goal added to their pain.
