Cambridge could be boosted by duo’s return

Cambridge could be boosted by the return of Reggie Lambe and Liam O’Neil for the Sky Bet League Two clash against Northampton.
The pair did not feature against Notts County last weekend, with Lambe struggling with a dead leg and O’Neil pulling out in the warm-up before the clash with Stevenage, but they may be fit to feature.
Rushian Hepburn-Murphy came in for his debut against Notts County last weekend and will hope to keep his place.
Northampton have an almost fully-fit squad, with just two long-term injuries.
There is an outside chance of Ash Taylor making a welcome return after manager Keith Curle said the defender could be back “at a push”.
Taylor is more likely to return against Morecambe on January 26.
It is unlikely midfielder John-Joe O’Toole will return after having a second injection to ease the pain following his foot injury.
