Maidenhead moved four points clear of the National League relegation zone with a thrilling 4-2 win at fellow strugglers Maidstone.
Adrian Clifton scored twice as the Magpies won at the Gallagher Stadium to leave the managerless 10-man hosts second from the bottom.
Clifton struck twice with Alfie Kilgour and debutant Sam Nombe also netting for Maidenhead.
The hosts had Ollie Muldoon sent off for two first-half yellow cards while Ayo Obileye was also dismissed for Maidenhead in the second half.
Will de Havilland’s double could not stop Maidstone from slipping to defeat.
Kilgour opened the scoring after 10 minutes, heading in a corner at the far post but De Havilland levelled four minutes later when he converted Charlie Wassmer’s cross.
Clifton’s close-range finish made it 2-1 after 32 minutes before the hosts fell apart.
Muldoon was sent off and three minutes before the interval it was 3-1 when MK Dons loanee Nombe was left in space at the far post to fire into the bottom corner.
The visitors’ domination continued when they made it 4-1 nine minutes after the break as Clifton cashed in on sloppy defending to score.
De Havilland pulled a goal back after 62 minutes but despite Obileye being dismissed the hosts could not recover.
