Fans Think There's Not Much David De Gea Couldn't Save

David de Gea put on one of the best goalkeeping displays in the history of the Premier League as Manchester United beat Spurs 1-0 and his performance inspired a lot of good photoshops.

When you see a world class performance from any player it's a little bit special but a goalkeeper producing one of the greatest displays in the Premier League is something else.

David de Gea not only won the match for Manchester United as they beat Spurs 1-0 but left most onlookers absolutely speechless as he saved 11 times from Harry Kane, Dele Alli and co.

They say a picture is worth 1000 words and it wasn't just Juan Mata's reaction to De Gea's performance that told the story but Twitter was pretty good at summing it up to.

The photoshops were running wild to explain just how good De Gea was and as well as Brexit there were plenty of other things the former Atletico Madrid keeper could have saved on that form:

Spurs could feel a little hard done by as they were the more attacking team in the second half but couldn't find a way past the 28 year old.

There were certain chances though where Mauricio Pochettino's side might have done better rather than shoot at the United goalie.

The two sides were separated only by Marcus Rashford's first half goal. Paul Pogba played the perfect ball for the England striker but he still had a lot to do as he shot hard across the ground across Hugo Lloris who could do nothing but get his fingers to the shot.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side were the better team in the first half, playing on the break, but in the end they were holding on, thanks in the main part to De Gea.
