Aaron Amadi-Holloway may return for Shrewsbury after missing the 1-1 draw at Sunderland through illness.
Omar Beckles made his comeback after missing two games with a niggle as a late substitute at the Stadium of Light.
Winger Shaun Whalley is still sidelined by the hamstring injury he picked up during the 2-2 draw with Peterborough.
Shrewsbury are 17th in Sky Bet League One, five points above the relegation zone.
Fleetwood’s Dean Marney will miss the trip after being sent off for two bookable offences on Saturday.
The midfielder was dismissed in the second half of the 5-2 defeat to Portsmouth.
James Husband (hamstring) is expected to remain on the sidelines.
Nathan Sheron and Jason Holt will be pushing for recalls after being benched at the weekend.
