Ayr United were knocked off the top of the Ladbrokes Championship table after being held to a 0-0 draw by Dunfermline.
The East End Park stalemate together with Ross County’s 2-0 win over Partick Thistle saw the Staggies replace the Honest Men at the summit.
Dunfermline remain in seventh spot, six points clear of the relegation play-off place.
Michael Moffat had the best chance of the first half for Ayr when he raced clear but was denied by Lee Robinson one-on-one.
After the break, Joseph Thomson tried his luck from 30 yards for Dunfermline but Ross Doohan was alert to make the save and Aidan Keena beat two defenders and cut inside but again found Doohan equal to his effort.
