Scannell suffers injury setback for Bradford

Bradford winger Sean Scannell faces an extended spell on the sidelines as the Bantams prepare to face Scunthorpe.
Scannell has been out for 10 weeks due to a hairline fracture in his back and is not likely to return to training until February.
The Bantams are short on wide players as Sherwin Seedorf has returned to parent club Wolves for treatment on a hamstring injury and Jordon Gibson is out with a similar problem.
Midfielder Jake Reeves is still out and forward Tyrell Robinson remains suspended by the club, while striker Eoin Doyle is pushing for a recall after scoring in last week’s 4-0 home win against Walsall.
Stuart McCall’s Scunthorpe have suffered a blow with the news Josh Morris has fractured his fibula and strained ankle ligaments.
Former Bradford boss McCall confirmed on Thursday that the midfielder faces a minimum of two months on the sidelines.
McCall also confirmed he has two more injury doubts but would not reveal their identity.
George Thomas is available despite suffering a dead leg last weekend, having returned to training on Tuesday.
