Southend United vs Rochdale - Southend set to be missing Harry Bunn once more
Posted Friday, December 21, 2018 by PA
Southend winger Harry Bunn is unlikely to feature in their League One clash with Rochdale on Saturday at Roots Hall.
Bunn has been sidelined since picking up a thigh injury against Portsmouth on December 8 but could feature over the festive period.
Shrimpers boss Chris Powell could welcome back Michael Turner after the defender has completed a full week of training.
Turner was on the bench against Accrington but Powell said the centre-back passed a fitness test on Saturday.
Rochdale seem to have no new injury problems.
It is unlikely Kgosi Ntlhe will be involved as the defender has not featured in a game since picking up an injury in the first half of the 3-0 win over Wycombe on October 23.
Keith Hill’s side have one win from their last five matches, and currently sit in 19th place, just four points above Plymouth in the relegation zone.
Southend currently sit 12th place, five points above Dale but having lost 11 games compared to the Lancashire side’s 10.
