Hamstring woe for Whalley
Posted Friday, December 21, 2018 by PA
Shrewsbury winger Shaun Whalley is out for up to a month with a hamstring injury.
He limped off in the 2-2 draw with Peterborough having only just returned from a calf problem which sidelined him for four weeks.
Boss Sam Ricketts has no further injury worries as he looks for his first league win.
Shrewsbury are 17th in Sky Bet League One, five points above the relegation zone.
Coventry striker Amadou Bakayoko is out for the next two months.
The forward suffered a knee injury in training after team-mate Jordan Willis fell on him awkwardly.
Jodi Jones is out with a second serious knee injury which will sideline him for the season.
Dujon Sterling has been battling ankle and hip problems over the last few weeks while Willis is nursing an ankle sprain.
