Kal Naismith back to boost Wigan after ban

Wigan have Kal Naismith available for the visit of Birmingham after suspension.

The left-back sat out Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Ipswich but could return.

Nick Powell is struggling with a hamstring problem while Antonee Robinson (ankle) is out along with midfielder Michael Jacobs (hamstring).

Gavin Massey (hamstring) and Chey Dunkley (knee) made their returns to the squad last week but were unused substitutes.

Birmingham defender Marc Roberts is out for a number of weeks with a calf injury.

The centre-half was substituted less than 10 minutes into Blues’ 2-2 draw against Blackburn.

Roberts was deputising for the injured Michael Morrison, who is carrying a hamstring injury.

Blues’ captain is touch and go for the Latics game while forward Isaac Vassell (hip) and midfielder David Davis (ankle) are out.
