Blackpool vs Solihull Moors - Defensive doubts for Blackpool ahead of Solihull clash
Posted Tuesday, December 18, 2018 by PA
Blackpool will assess defenders Curtis Tilt and Ollie Turton ahead of Tuesday’s FA Cup second-round replay against Solihull Moors at Bloomfield Road.
Tilt could make his return having missed the 2-0 League One defeat at Oxford on Saturday due to a hip problem.
Turton came off at half time in the game at the Kassam Stadium due to a hamstring issue and is a big doubt.
Mark Cullen (leg stress fracture) and Max Clayton (hamstring) remain unavailable.
Solihull defenders Liam Daly and Jamie Reckord are expected to be back in action after sitting out the Moors’ last game, Saturday’s 1-0 FA Trophy win at Southport.
Daly and Reckord were not involved after sustaining Achilles and calf injuries respectively a week earlier when Solihull drew 2-2 at Sutton in the National League.
Alex Gudger came off injured against Southport but should also be fit for Tuesday’s contest. Matty Stenson is cup-tied.
Solihull are fifth in the National League, while Blackpool – with whom they drew 0-0 in the original tie at the Automated Technology Group Stadium on November 30 – are eighth in League One.
