Barnsley and Portsmouth battled to a hard-fought 1-1 draw at Oakwell.
Pompey took the lead through Gareth Evans before Cauley Woodrow equalised for the hosts.
The first half was a tightly-contested affair, with Barnsley holding the upper hand. Their best chance came when Kieffer Moore, who was under pressure, volleyed well over the crossbar.
It was the visitors who took the lead against the run of play in the 42nd minute. A cross was cleared by Alex Mowatt only as far as captain Evans who arrowed a shot into the bottom right-hand corner from 20 yards.
Barnsley levelled on the hour. Brad Potts sent over a pinpoint cross from the right-hand side and Woodrow, on the stretch, guided the ball into the bottom corner.
Portsmouth tried to hit back immediately when Oli Hawkins was sent clean through on a quick break and one-on-one with the goalkeeper he forced a good save from Adam Davies.
Neither side could force a winner as the match ended all-square.
