Doyle could earn recall as Coventry look to end winless run

Coventry captain Michael Doyle could be recalled against Luton after being omitted for the first time since his return to the Ricoh Arena.
Doyle was left on the bench for the 2-1 defeat at Walsall and boss Mark Robins is considering how he should be used with the busy Christmas period ahead.
“He’s been brilliant but don’t forget he’s 37 and I have got to look at what are we doing,” Robins said.
Robins made five changes for the injury-time defeat by Walsall and could perform additional surgery to his team in response to their collapse on Saturday.
Luton have been unchanged for six games in a row and have been rewarded by a sequence of five wins and a draw.
Now boss Nathan Jones must decide whether it is time to freshen up his side with the festive schedule approaching.
Among those eager for a start is star striker Danny Hylton, who has been playing a supporting role from the bench despite being the club’s leading scorer for the last two seasons.
“There’s real competition now with our front ones and when Hylton came on against Fleetwood he was magnificent, but the team have been in such good form that we can’t change it,” Jones said.
