Partick beat Dunfermline to end winless run

Partick claimed their first Scottish Championship win in 10 games as their 2-0 home victory over Dunfermline also lifted them off the bottom.
Faissal El Bakhtaoui’s effort went just wide as Dunfermline made a bright start but it was Partick who took the lead when Blair Spittal arrowed a shot into the corner from the edge of the box in the 12th minute.
Dunfermline finished the first half well and Robbie Muirhead clipped the top of the goal with a long-range effort before Danny Devine headed against the bar a minute before the break.
However, Partick extended their lead in the 56th minute, Miles Storey flicking in a James Penrice cross which sneaked under Pars goalkeeper Lee Robinson – his first goal since July.
