Gateshead stayed in the play-off places after a 2-0 win over Bromley in Saturday’s Vanarama National League clash.
Luke Armstrong opened the scoring for Heed in the 16th minute when he put Luke Molyneux’s corner over the Bromley goalkeeper and into the net.
Fraser Kerr doubled the hosts’ lead early in the second half when he volleyed Molyneux’s corner into the roof of the net.
The win meant Heed are four points adrift of AFC Fylde in sixth place but two points clear of Sutton.
