MANCHESTER CITY are set to lose wonderkid Brahim Diaz to Real Madrid, according to reports.
One the club's brightest talents will leave the Etihad in June when his contract at City expires.
The 19-year-old has had the opportunity to extend his stay at the Etihad but has so far turned them down.
And according to reports in Spain, he has already agreed a deal to take him to the Bernabeu next summer.
Real Madrid will only need to pay City a compensation fee for his signature as he is under the age of 22.
It is believed that Diaz's decision to pursue his career elsewhere is over the lack of minutes he is getting under Pep Guardiola.
Diaz has yet to play a single minute in the Premier League despite scoring twice against Fulham in the Carabao Cup earlier this month.
City's strength in depth means the forward fears his progress could stagnate if he remains at the Etihad.
He is set to follow in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho who left City for Borussia Dortmund in 2017.
The 18-year-old's sensational form in the Bundesliga has earned the winger his first call-ups for Gareth Southgate's England squad.
City will want to avoid losing fellow academy star Phil Foden and are believed to be weighing up a new contract for the teenager.
The midfielder's current deal expires in 2020 but Dortmund are believed to be monitoring his situation very closely.
