Dover edge to win at struggling Boreham Wood

Dover managed only their fourth win of the season, 1-0 at out-of-form Boreham Wood.
Home goalkeeper Ryan Huddart plucked one out of the right top corner just before the break to prevent Jamie Allen’s fierce shot giving Dover the lead.
The Whites led though early in the second half when Huddart could only parry Jai Reason’s effort into the path of Inih Effiong, who stabbed in the opener.
In the second half Boreham tried to equalise through attrition – forcing five successive corners in a short space of time but failing to fashion a shot on target.
Substitute Josh Umerah angled a header just over the crossbar from Kieran Murtagh’s corner, but they could not break through.
