Eastleigh seal fifth straight away win with victory at Maidstone

Paul McCallum scored twice as Eastleigh continued their fine away form with a 3-1 win at struggling Maidstone.
McCallum added to Joseph Jones’ first-half opener with two headers in the second period as the south coast club made it five straight away wins in the National League.
Eastleigh looked like being frustrated in the opening period, with Elliott Romain having an acrobatic effort ruled out for offside, but they finally found a way through in stoppage time as Jones struck his first goal for the club.
McCallum added the second on the hour mark as he headed in from a Mark Yeates corner and the duo combined in similar circumstances in the 85th minute to make it 3-0.
Michael Phillips pulled one back late on but Maidstone remain without a home league win since August.
