Teenager Ben Morris is set to be rewarded for his first senior goal by being given another Forest Green start at home to Colchester.
The Ipswich loanee started for the first time at Carlisle on Saturday and opened the scoring after 13 minutes of Rovers’ 2-1 win.
Dayle Grubb could return after a hamstring injury with Rovers manager Mark Cooper describing the midfielder as “touch and go”.
Grubb should definitely be back for Forest Green’s trip to Yeovil on December 8, as will defenders Liam Shepherd and Lee Collins.
Colchester centre-half Luke Prosser is expected to return after missing the 1-1 home draw with Exeter through suspension.
Ollie Kensdale, 18, is likely to drop to the bench after becoming the first Colchester player born in the new millennium to make his Football League debut.
Defender Tom Eastman will be assessed after missing the last three games with a head injury sustained in the FA Cup defeat at Accrington earlier this month.
Goalkeeper Rene Gilmartin (hamstring) and striker Luke Norris (ankle) remain sidelined.
