Rochdale welcome teenager Daniel Adshead back to their squad for the League One clash with Accrington.
The 17-year-old featured in all three of England Under-18s matches during the international break as they triumphed in the four nations tournament in Spain.
Defender Sam Hart serves a one-match ban while Olly Rathbone is pushing for a start after injury.
The midfielder has not made an appearance for nearly a month but was an unused substitute for last weekend’s defeat by Shrewsbury.
Accrington will be without midfielder Scott Brown.
Brown picked up his fifth booking of the season after coming on as a substitute during last weekend’s defeat by Barnsley and must serve a one-match ban.
Andy Mangan could come into contention as he works his way back from injury, although this weekend may come too soon, while Harvey Rodgers is also back in full training.
A run of four matches without a win has seen Stanley slip away from the top six, and captain Seamus Conneely will be among those hoping to force their way into the side.
