Frankie Sutherland is spot on as Bromley cruise
Posted Sunday, November 04, 2018 by PA
Frankie Sutherland scored two penalties in Bromley’s 4-0 win at home to Hartlepool.
The midfielder drove his first spot-kick hard and low to the goalkeeper’s right after Adam Mekki had been fouled in the box after 12 minutes.
Omar Bugiel doubled the Ravens’ lead in the second half, converting a chance engineered by a sliding tackle by Richard Brindley as he won back possession and played him in.
Sutherland scored his second penalty after an infringement by Peter Kioso. Already the National League’s most booked player with seven cautions, Kioso was sent off for his second of the day.
George Porter added a late fourth as Pools’ slump continued.
